Cashmere is a kind of very precious natural fiber, but now there exists fake cashmere in the market which made from synthetic fiber such as acrylic, viscose etc. so how to distinguish real cashmere from  fake cashmere?

REAL CASHMERE:

Cashmere fabric is fine and smooth in surface with fluffy hair. The hand feel is smooth and soft. If you rub it gently there would be pills and can be take out with hand easily.

FAKE CASHEMRE:

Fake cashmere material can also be processed to be very soft and fluffy but the heat retention is bad. If rub it gently there would exist pills but hard to get off with hand.

REAL CASHMERE

If fire the cashmere fabric, it will produce short and small fire along with smell of burning hair and white smoke.

FAKE CASHEMRE

If fire the fake cashmere fabric, there will be long and black smoke; the fire burns fast.

REAL CASHEMRE

The leftovers of real cashmere after burnare grainy and become ash after gentle rub.

FAKE CASHMERE:

The leftovers of fake cashmere is in gommures.
