1、cashmere

Cashmere is fine hair which is from the bottom of goathair.Goat grows in alpine grasslands,such as China’s Inner Mongolia,Xinjiang,Qingdao,Liaoningand other places.China is the largest country in the world production ofcashmere and cashmere production accounts for more than 50% of total worldproduction,among which Inner Mongolia cashmere has top grade.Cashmere fiber ischaracterized by slender,soft.The fabric is soft,smooth with tender luster,itis much light compared with the same thickness of the wool fabric and moresuede style.In general,most light color cashmere overcoat is from white hairwith better quality;but many dark color are from purple hair or green hair,thequality is slightly inferior.

2、Alpaca

Alpaca fiber is from an animal named “alpaca”,theanimal grows mainly in the Audes of Peru.Andes Mountains is 4500 meters abovesea level,great temperature difference between day and night.The temperature ofnight is -20-18 ℃,15-18℃ of day.Sun radiation is strong with thin atmosphereand strong cold wind.Alpaca lives in such a harsh environment and its hair candefinitely withstand the extreme change of temperatures.Alpaca hair can not onlymoisturize,but effectively resist solar radiation.Alpaca fiber containsmedullary cavity visible under the microscope,so its performance is better thanthat of wool,cashmere and mohair.

In addition,alpaca fiber has more than 17kinds of natural colors from white to black,and a series of different shades ofbrown,gray.It’s the most abundant natural color fiber of special animalfibers.What we see in the market refers to the alpaca.

3、Mohair

Mohair refers to the Angola goat hair,mainly producedin South Africa.Its characteristic is thick fiber,small curl and goodgloss.Mohair fabric feels smooth with enough gloss.Mohair and alpaca fabric areas much as short hair style.
