So what’s the difference between machine knitting cashmere yarn and hand knitting one? Usually as theirs name say, machine knitting cashmere yarn is mainly used for machine knitting, and hand knitting one is mainly used for hand-knitting.
Machine knitting one is thinner, including woolen cashmere yarn, worsted cashmere yarn and semi-worsted one, gauge various from 3gg to 18gg,. Woolen cashmere yarn is mainly used for 9gg, 12gg, 12gg flat knitting machine; worsted and semi-worsted one are mainly for 14gg, 16gg, 18gg machine knitting,
Hand knitting cashmere yarn is mainly based on woolen cashmere yarn and many woolen cashmere machine knitting yarns can also be used as hand knitting one. Meanwhile, there are also semi-worsted and worsted cashmere hand knitting yarns which are made into multi-ply yarns such as 2ply, 4ply, 6ply, 8 ply, 12ply, etc. so that they are thick enough for hand knitting.
According to the proportion of raw cashmere yarn points, no matter machine knitting cashmere yarn or hand knitting yarn, it all can be divided into 100 percent cashmere and blended cashmere yarn. 100% cashmere yarn is usually at least 95 percent; blended cashmere yarn is usually blended with silk, cotton, milk protein fiber, soy fiber and so on.
