We all know silk is delicate fiber, it is also a disadvantage of the silk yarn knitwear. A new silk yarn garment can look old because silk fabric fades easily in sunshine expose. After long time a light color silk yarn knitwear may become a little yellow and is particularly perspiration stain. So it is not a good choice to travel with silk knitwear because it is easy to wrinkle and need steam iron, and the silk fabric is easily to be damaged by sharp object. Silk yarn knitwear absorb water easily so liquid stain is very obvious in silk yarn knitwear.
Non-organic
Non-organic silk is obtained unethically. To get silk fiber the silkworms would be killed before they get out of the cocoon naturally. Silk fiber is collected by people interfere with their life circle and stop them becoming mature. Organic silk or wild silk is animal friendly and collected ethically.
